Downtown Debrecen, a city of about 200,000 in E Hungary, was invaded by fleeing geese after a truck overturned as it was transporting them through the city on Thursday, a local disaster management spokesman told MTI.
Attila Toro said that the truck had been carrying 784 birds, 50 of which were killed in the accident. Most of the others got loose. The fire service was called in to help recapture the animals, which were temporarily herded into the courtyard of a nearby ambulance depot, the spokesman added.
Pictures people, pictures. Who doesn’t want to see goose carnage?
