E. Coli Outbreak In Michigan

e coli funReally? Really? Nobody can solve this incredible mystery? How about looking into the 7.5 million gallons of untreated sewage and 52 million gallons of partially-treated sewage that overflowed into the Grand River last weekend? Or the 749,000 gallons of untreated sewage that was released into the Grand River in Grand Ledge? Or maybe it was the 94 million gallons of sewage released into the Clinton River and Lake St. Clair? The E. coli strain found last week at MSU is E. coli 0157:H7, commonly transmitted by eating undercooked, contaminated ground beef, drinking unpasteurized milk, swimming in or drinking contaminated water, and eating contaminated vegetables. Eh, I’m sure it has nothing to do with the water systems though, probably just a bad burger…
